Everything you need to play, in the order you will need it.

Getting started

Pick a difficulty, take the starting capital, and buy one thing. The market moves in game-minutes; one real second is one game-minute at 1× speed, and time only moves when the simulation is running.

Placing a trade

Open Trade, pick a symbol from the list, set a share count, and press Buy. Market orders fill immediately at the ask. Limit orders wait for your price and sit in the orders list until they fill or you cancel them.

Reading the numbers

Net worth is cash plus everything you hold. Day P&L is what changed since the open. Everything else is detail you can safely ignore until you want it.

When things go wrong

A run ends if net worth falls below 5% of where you started. You get warnings before that happens, and the risk page will tell you which shocks you could not survive before one arrives.

Keyboard

B buys, S sells, Space pauses, H opens help mode, and Cmd-K opens the command palette. The palette is the fastest way to reach any of the pages that are not in the main navigation.

Never-colour-alone matters most here, because the whole product signals with green and red.
TIME SKIP

Skipping days runs the market at speed and stops when something needs you. These are the somethings.

STOP THE SKIP FOR
Turning a row off does not turn the event off — it still happens, and you read about it afterwards instead of being asked at the time.
SOUND

Ten synthesised cues across five channels. On by default; the sound button in the game bar and the S key switch the same master.

Five faders became five on-off rows. Nobody balances a mix in a trading game; they mute the clicks.

SOUND LIBRARY

Audition every notable sound effect. Each preview routes through the exact same audio path the engine fires in-game — what you hear here is what you'll hear during play. Volume respects the mix above; mute it from the speaker icon in the top bar if you want silence.
